Delete your account

For the app Samsas (samsas.app), published by Stefan Ödesjö. På svenska.

In the app

1. Open the Us tab (Vi in Swedish).
2. Go to Account and tap Delete my account.
3. Confirm. The account is deleted at once and can't be restored.

By email

Email hej@samsas.app from the address tied to your Google or Apple account and say you want your Samsas account deleted. It's done within seven days, and you get a reply when it is.

What is deleted

• At once: your email address, name, picture, check-ins, notes in the jar, comments, cycle data, swipes, notification devices, your Sign in with Apple grant (it is revoked) and the subscription's link to the household.
• What belongs to the household – the week's events, lists, pantry, menus, money, the children's details – stays with your partner, without your name. When the last person leaves the household, all of that is deleted too.
• Server backups rotate out within 30 days. After that nothing remains.

Delete parts without deleting the account

• Cycle data: Us → Cycle → Delete my cycle data.
• Profile picture, addresses, workplace and birthday: removed on your profile under Us.
• Check-ins, events, list items, notes, comments, recipes and expenses: deleted one by one where they're shown.
• A child and everything about the child: the child's page → the gear → Remove child.
